Since then we have completed renovation and new construction projects in public housing, educational facilities, financial centers, government and municipal buildings, offices, historical restorations and commercial construction. E. L. Habetz Builders was founded in Crowley, LA in 1975 by Edmund L. Habetz, with his wife Cheryl. The company began as a residential contractor, building custom homes and developing residential subdivisions. In the 1980s, Edmund transitioned the company into commercial construction, which continues to be our focus today.
Under Edmund's leadership, the company has grown from a crew of three to a fully-staffed commercial construction company. Our office staff, project managers, and field crews bring decades of combined construction experience to every project. Our strengths are in our people, those who work for us and on our projects, and our knowledge of the construction industry.
